Position: Summer Communications Director, USCJ"Bus A" USY on Wheels

 

Responsibilities: While supervising 40 high schoolers on a 6-week cross-country road trip, I managed all external communications between the participants and parents.

 

Project Scope: I composed blog posts (400+ words) every day, about our group's daily events. I used a light-hearted tone to focus on readability.

Results: I received high praise from senior management and blog readers near the end of my term.

Amazon Product Description

 

Position: Klutz Sales and Marketing Intern at Scholastic

 

Responsibilities: Jumping between the sales and marketing teams, I executed several projects that showcased my analytical MS Excels skills and creative writing chops.

Project Scope: Write creative copy for several product pages to increase Amazon digital traffic and sales.

 

Results: After I wrote the product copy, several products earned key spots on Amazon Prime Day, one of the website’s largest revenue-generating days of the year.

Position: VP of Marketing, Smith Undergraduate Student Association

Responsibilities: SUSA, plans over 200 events each semester. The VP of Marketing leads all promotional strategy for SUSA events.


Project Scope: Increase email engagement for our weekly email newsletter using MailChimp and AB testing principals.

Results: By changing email content style by incorporating other media forms (i.e. gifs, images, videos), newsletter click rate doubled.
